You have a surer word of prophecy

Apostle Peter was one of the disciples of Christ who had the privilege of experiencing with His eyes the secret things that he saw when Christ was on earth. This gave him a sure boldness in declaring the reality of the gospel. He described his conviction as a sure word of prophecy because he witnessed what was prophesied by the prophets who didn't see what they prophesied about.

This Apostle witnessed how God gave honour and glory to Christ, even after He resurrected. Why is this important to us as Christians? Because, It is a proof of our promised inheritance by God. He fulfilled honour and glory in Christ that you may not end in shame & dishonour!

Regardless of the labour, trials and long-suffering, please bear in mind this sure word of prophecy that Christ in you is your hope of honour and glory. You share in the same destiny with Christ, He was exalted and uplifted, this shall be your experience too. You have a living hope in God because Christ is alive. The troubles are only temporal but your destiny in Him is sure. Hold firm to this sure word of prophecy and do not be moved by the threats of hell. Hallelujah!!!
