I welcome you once more to the month of October, glory to our God for the privilege. Today we shall be looking at the pillars of gratitude, in order words, what makes gratitude possible. What are the factors that must be in place for gratitude to be manifested in the life of a person. Firstly, I want you to understand that the enemy will come up with so much to keep you out of a life of gratitude but when these pillars are in place,it becomes difficult for Him to have his way.
The first pillar is called recognition of God's love, faithfulness and mercy. Until you set your heart on God's love and faithfulness, you will not understand how much He has done for you. There are several battles which our eyes cannot see yet God dealt with them on our behalf. And because we refuse to recognize His love we are blinded to what His love does for us. The next pillar is called rest in His love, faithfulness, and mercy. Lack of rest in God's love will deprive you the privilege to stand in gratitude of what His love has done for you.
There are too many of God's children who cannot find any reason to say they are experiencing God's Love because they have failed to rest in it. It's your rest that will determine your stand. If you can first recognize His Love towards your life and rest in it, you will not lack the spirit of gratitude. Hallelujah!!!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for calling me your own. Today, I recognize and rest in your Love and I receive the spirit of gratitude in Jesus name!!!
