Christ our Redemption

 Scripture Focus :

1 Corinthians 1:30

It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. (ISV)

Our union with Christ has a high spiritual significance that we cannot understand with our minds. It's such a blessedness that even the dark kingdom is incapacitated by it. In Romans 6:4, the scripture says "We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death..." And in Ephesians 2:6 it declares "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."

Without Christ, redeeming or saving our souls from eternal death would never have been possible. Our union with Christ is what brings about the salvation of our soul. The salvation of your soul is more important that anything in this world. If your soul is not saved than you are not safe. That's the reason Christ said in Matthew 8:36- "for what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" Emphatically Nothing! 

Whatever happened to you before you reconciled to God by Christ does not matter because in Christ, you have a brand New life. Christ has given you another life and in this new life, you have been blessed with what is bigger than the old life you had. This new life is eternal and filled with the favour of God. Hallelujah!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for making Christ my redemption, I declare that eternal life is at work in every part of my body, soul and spirit in Jesus name!
