You are responsive to righteousness

Scripture Focus :

Ephesians 4:23-24

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

When you were in the flesh, sin was in control of you life, you were naturally moved by sin and you saw it as the normal way of life. Now that you have been born into the family of Righteousness, your nature repels sin but response to righteousness. In this new life, the Spirit of God dwells in you and causes you both to will and to do of His good will.

 You have no obligation to fulfill the desires of your flesh. The Spirit is now in control of your life, your body needs to be yielded to righteousness unto sanctification. This also goes beyond sin, it includes diseases, sickness and death. Since your body does not respond to sin, it is dead also to sickness and death. You have been made right with God through the blood of Jesus, that your body should no more serve sin, sickness and death.

Train yourself to see your life in this light because this is the truth. It is the truth of your new birth into the family and kingdom of God. You will have to make your body understand that there has been a change of order and so patterns of living will have to change too. You have to let it know that it's new master isn't sin anymore but righteousness made available through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Father, Thank you because you have given to me all that patterns to life and godliness. I am walking in righteousness, sound health and life in Jesus name!
