How to deal with thoughts of fear

Scripture Focus :

Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Accommodating  thoughts of fear is an invitation for the enemy to manifest what you are afraid of. Many persons are going through certain disasters in life, because the thoughts of fear has invaded their minds and made them slaves to their fears. I wanna teach you today, how you can overcome any thought of fear contending with your mind. 

The first key i want you  to understand, which must stick to the fabrics of your mind is that God is greater than all your fears. There are times I have been faced with terrible sitautions that fear keeps knocking on my door and on telling myself that God is greater than this situation, I experience a huge relief. Now, you don't just say it, you have to picture it in your mind and believe  it with all your heart. 

Your fears may come in different forms, fear of how to survive, fear of dying, fear of loosing something, whatever that fear is, I want you to know that God is greater than it and that means, it isn't above the power of God. It may be above your power but with God, it will be defeated. Another key to handling thoughts of fear is resting in the peace of God's word. This is where you have to believe in the sustainability power of the word of God no matter the situation on ground. You are convinced that God's word has the ultimate power over everything around your life. As you practise this principles, I see you coming out of every form of fear.

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the Spirit you have given to me, a Spirit not of fear but of power. I loose myself from every power of fear and I begin to walk in the  the Spirit of power in Jesus name!

I pray for you today, in the name of Jesus every thought of fear holding down your life is here by destroyed by fire!
