Powerful keys on how to Grow in Grace & the knowledge of Jesus Christ

Scripture Focus :

2 Peter 3: 18

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

We have learnt that the Grace of God represents His love and kindness towards us, and I like to call it His endless love. If this is what the Grace of God means then growing in God's Grace will mean how we can grow in the Love and kindness of God. We are also looking at growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our focus scripture encourages us to grow in Grace and the knowledge of Jesus. 

Before moving to how we can grow, let us talk about the result of growing in Grace and the knowledge of Christ. In 2 Peter 3:17, we discovered that St. Paul was admonishing them to be on guard so that they will not fall into deception, this was what resulted to telling them to grow in Grace. So growing in Grace will help you become strengthened in your faith from your inner man. There will be no place for confusion or instability, and you will become built up in Christ with a deep knowledge of His loving kindness , and this will help you stand out for Jesus Christ.

Now, how do you grow in Grace & the knowledge of Christ? The first key is that you give yourself to the word of Grace continuously, Acts 20:35; the word of Grace is the message of God's love manifested in Christ. Embrace, study the word and meditate on it daily, Titus 3:8 also tells us to affirm it constantly, that means to constantly say it with all conviction in your spirit. The last key is that you stir your mind to remembrance. Intentionally remind yourself daily of what God has done for you in Christ and you will solidify your faith. Hallelujah!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank you for your Grace, from today, I give myself to the word of your Grace and and the knowledge of your Son Jesus Christ. My life shall not be the same and my faith shall be strengthened in Jesus name!
