Simple steps to help you mix the word with faith & experience great results

Scripture Focus :

Hebrews 4:2

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

 I'm sure you are familiar with Hebrews 4:12 which say that the word is sharper than any two edge sword. As much as this is the truth of the character of God's word, it will need to be in use in your life to manifest the power it carries. For example, a sharp sword becomes more effective when it is in use for a particular purpose or function.

Before applying the word, I'll like you to make this a foundation, that the word is powerful and active, it is like a hammer & fire, it is the truth and capable of producing light. Now, to mix the word with faith, let us define Faith. Faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come. Therefore, the first step to mixing the word with faith is having an assurance in the word.

Assurance means that you are certain in your heart that what you hope for in the word will come to pass. The next step is to go into prayers with the assurance you have in your heart to table your hope & desire before the almighty God. And the last step is to declare the word with your mouth in praise, joy & thanksgiving to God because you are sure that He is faithful to fulfil His word in your life. Hallelujah!!!
