But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Until the bible ceases to be a mere book to you and begins to be the living word of God, it will do you no good. Some persons think the Bible was given to them to get familiar with ancient stories, so they are now used to the stories to the point where they feel that there is no need to read the bible over and over. You need to understand that every jot of the bible is a breath of God.
The book of 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. The breath of God means that it is a product of God's Spirit, therefore it is active and alive. It's time to begin to take the word of God very seriously so that it can accomplish it's purpose in your life.
God cannot lie, therefore everything He says is truth. When you believe His word, you believe the truth. Your bible is meant to direct you on the path of truth so that you won't walk in darkness. The enemy knows this that's the reason He would do anything to make sure the word of God doesn't gain a place of priority in your life. You have to be determined and intentional about your relationship with the word of God. The help of the Lord locates you this new month in Jesus name!
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your word, I acknowledge that your word is the ultimate authority over my life. In this new month, I begin to take the word more seriously than ever and I step into new dimensions of the Glory of the word in Jesus name!
