The esssense of maintaining your spiritual fire

 Scripture Focus :

 1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Maintaining spiritual fire means to keep yourself at the frequency of the move of the Spirit and sustaining the fire of the Spirit within. Our focus scripture tells us to be sober and vigilant and in other translations it says be alert. It will take an active spiritual fire to stay spiritually alert. Lack of being spiritually alert has caused the devourer to steal and destroy the lives of many.

The fire of God needs to burn consistently in your heart and life so you will be ready at all times to manifest the power of the Spirit. Low spiritual fire is the reason many Christians have excuses when it comes to witnessing for the Lord or sharing their faith. You want to be ready to tell anyone about your faith in Jesus Christ and in any sitaution you find yourself.

Spiritual  fire keeps the agents of darkness far from you so they will not be able to carry out their machinations, sickness and diseases get burnt becauer they cannot withant the fire of God in you. When the enemies come around, the fire will expose their evil plans and put you in charge. Tomorrow we shall be looking at keys to rekindling your spiritual so you will be able to set your life on fire for God at any time.

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you being my father, thank you for sending your Spirit into my life. I begin to walk in an unusual spiritual fire by your Grace at work in me in Jesus name!
