The attitude of Faith!

Scripture Focus :

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I know so many are familiar with the focus scripture for today, but there is something different I want to show you from it. The first thing we notice is that it says without faith, we can't please God and it went on to describe how faith pleases God. Firstly, It says that he that must come to Him must believe that He is, other translations says, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists! 

Now that's a striking definition of Faith because, a lot of Persons pray to God like they are testing His existence. Their attitude show that they have little or no recognition for God! Since they cannot physically see God, they feel He is not so much in existence like He is being talked about. Remember in the first verse of Hebrews 11, it says that Faith is the evidence of the things we cannot see. 

Your attitude towards the unseen is the real definition of your faith. Possible is not a possible affirmation, it's and attitude! So when you believe that God exits and you know Him to be the most High God, it will definitely affect your attitude. And this leads us to the next part of the verse which says that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hear me now, you can't believe in God and know Him to the almighty and then you don't go after Him with all your heart. If you are still not pursuing Him this way, it shows that you haven't gotten a deeper revelation of Him. The attitude of those who truly believe that God exist is that they earnestly seek God and this is what I call the attitude of Faith!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace being made accessable by faith. Thank you because you are more real than anything in our lives and you are a rewarder of our faith in you. Help me Lord to grow more and more in Faith in Jesus name!
