Preserving your Joy in a world of sorrow

Scripture Focus :

John 15:11

I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.

One of the temptations that is obvious in our days is being influenced by the happenings around us. There is so much going on that could alter the state of your joy and most likely  keep you in a low state. Anytime the devil comes after your Joy, it's also an attempt to manipulate your faith. 

In a world where sorrow is inevitable, we must learn to make the Lord Jesus Christ the source of our Joy. This simply means that He has to be the very reason you are joyful and the reason you will remain joyful. When you arrive at this realm, nothing can keep you out of Joy. Your joy bank will become ever full. How can you apply this to your everyday activities? 

For instance, when you find yourself In a terrible situation, instead of allow the situation take over your mind, redirect it to Jesus Christ. Keep your mind on His words especially when He said that you should be of good cheers because He has overcome the world. Think about it consistently and thank Him for the victory He has given you over the situation. When you follow this step I just showed you, you will discover that your Joy will be renewed and strength to overcome will rise within you. Hallelujah!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heveanly Father, thank you because our Joy is in you. Lord I ask that you keep me in your Joy in a world of unending sorrow in Jesus name.
