The fruit of light

Scripture Focus :

Ephesians 5:8-10

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

Every tree is known by it's fruit because the fruit describes where the tree belong. The fruit is the result of the nature of the tree. Every fruit tells more of the nature or the real content of something. Our focus scripture makes us to understand that when we were in darkness, there was no way we could produce fruits of light. It wasn't just possible because it is never possible for a mango tree to produce an Apple fruit. 

The problem isn't the fruit but in the nature of the tree. If the nature of the tree can be altered it will affect the fruit. I am saying here today that there is a reason a sinner manifest fruits of darkness. The problem isn't the sin manifested but in the nature of the sinner. Now that you have been translated from darkness to light. God's word is saying that you walk in the light to keep you manifesting the fruits of light. 

Anytime you cease to walk in the light, you are altering your nature. It gave us a clear example of the fruit of light and this is in all goodness, Righteousness and truth. These are the pillars of the fruit of light. This light is powered by the Spirit of God in us that's why in other translations it calls it the fruit of the Spirit. When you commit to be led by the Spirit, you won't fillfil the works of darkness. Hallelujah!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for translating me from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Light. I refuse to continue in darkness and I commit to stay connected to your Spirit of Light in the name of Jesus Christ.
