Have no confidence in the flesh but in Jesus Christ

Scripture Focus :

Philippians 3:3

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

We are saved by Grace and not by our strength, if this is true then we should like Apostle Paul affirm daily that "I live yet not I but Christ lives in me." The result of putting our confidence in the flesh is stepping out of Grace. Our focus scripture tells us that we are the circumcision which worship God in the Spirit, and in John 4:24, Christ speaking to the woman of Samaria said, God is a Spirit and they that must worship Him must do that it spirit and in truth. 

Having your confidence in the flesh means worshipping God outside of truth and the spirit and God will not approve such worship. It also means trusting in the  ability of works to be saved instead of the path of Grace. Christ brought us into right standing with God, if you are still trusting in your self made righteousness to be right with God, then you are confident in your flesh & functioning outside of Grace.

As God's children reconciled by the sacrifice of Christ, let us keep growing in  Grace and let nothing bring us back into the ways of thinking outside in the flesh. This will help us manifest the fruits of the Spirit in our lives. The flesh will end you up in frustration and pain because the flesh cannot please God. Hallelujah!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace, i ask that you help me not to fall off your Grace but remain steadfast in you in Jesus name!
