Wisdom for Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ

Scripture Focus:

2 Timothy 3:15

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The fundamental purpose of the scriptures in our dispensation is to equip us with wisdom for salvation in Jesus Christ. When the focus of a Christian begins to move away from this truth, you will find them falling out of Grace. The books of the old testament and the new testament is what makes up the Holy Scriptures and their purpose is to reveal Jesus Christ. 

As you begin to study and feed on the Holy Scriptures, the verse before says, it will make you wise unto salvation through faith in no other thing but in Jesus Christ. In order words, the scriptures teaches you how to grow in the Grace which comes through faith in Jesus Christ. As you learn the stories of the bible, you begin to find what you need to know about how this Grace came to existence and how you can learn from the examples of people like Moses who esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt.

You have to cultivate the habit of studying the Scriptures and applying its wisdom in your daily living so that you can continue in the salvation that you have through faith in Jesus Christ. Many loose track of their salvation in Christ, while some act foolishly because they have given less priority to the scriptures. If you desire to stay fit in your salvation which is through faith in Christ, then you must give place to consistent meditation and study of the scriptures. Hallelujah!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your word today, I ask the you help me to stay committed to the study of your word in the name of Jesus Christ!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

I pray for you, from today, nothing shall be impossible for you, Grace to do all thing through Christ rest on you now!
