Praise & the Word

Scripture Focus: 

1 Peter 1:25

But the word of the Lord is eternal. And this is the word of the good news which was given to you.

 

I have learnt to praise God for the gift of His word. Dear child of God, when God opens your eyes to the value of His word it will stir up praise from within you. This is one thing every of God's children should crave for, that their eyes be opened to understand the word so that they can see its value. In our focus scripture, we are told that the word is eternal. 

What this means is that it has no end. The life of the word has no end. This should stir up praise in you because we live by the word and therefore the world can pass away but God's word abides forever. This is not what will fade away in a short while, it will continue to stand true even when time comes to an end. This should stir up praise in you because the word won't fail, but there shall be a performance. The situation you are going through right now has an expiring date but the word of God with you will surely come to pass. 

When I look at these qualities of the word, I run into joy and thanksgiving because there is no point getting frustrated by a problem that will fade away through my faith in the eternal word of God. Keep your praise bank full inspite of the threatening situation, rejoice in the living and eternal word of God and that situation will melt down before you. God is not a man that He should lie, get ready to praise your way through. Hallelujah!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your word, I receive the Grace to stay joyful by reason of your word in my life in Jesus name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

I pray for you today in the name of Jesus the Lord will show you His help in your going out and coming in in Jesus name!
