Receiving the word of God!

Scripture Focus: 

John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,even to them that believe on his name.

It's one thing to hear the word, it's another thing to receive the word. If you hear the word and you don't receive it, it will profit you nothing. Power belongs to those who will hear the word and receive it, they end up in the manifestation of what the word says. Receiving the word is a function of the heart. You've got to believe it with your heart. 

For a person to receive God's word, his heart has got to believe it. What you don't receive is not welcome in your heart. The scripture says For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness. There will always be a result when you believe God's word with your heart, it results to something. The heart receives it and something is released. 

I have also discovered that some persons don't stay in the receiving end, they get out of it too early. They don't let the the word settle in their heart, once it gets there they just run out of it. After you believe the word, you've got make it yours through your confessions, that's what makes it consistent in your heart and when it becomes consistent, you will manifest he word! Hallelujah!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Father, I thank you for your word today, I ask that you help me to believe your word with all my heart and confess it in all no do in Jesus name!

I pray for you in the name of Jesus, the peace of God take you through every storm you are going through righ now!
