Never be afraid to contend for what is yours

Scripture Focus :

Numbers 13: 27-28

And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities arewalled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

In the first verse of Numbers 13, which is our focus scripture, we see that God told Moses to send spies to the Land of Canaan which He had given them. When they got there, the land was occupied by another people. Now, this should pop a question in your heart, if God had given them, why are there people already occupying the land? When the spies came back they came with evil and good report and the entire Children of Israel began to complain. 

The land was flowing with milk and honey, but they were more concerned about the obstacles they saw. They were not moved by milk and honey but by the strong men occupying the Land. Furthermore, they forgot that they had a mighty God with them who is able to do anything. Perhaps God sent them to spy, to know how much faith they have in Him. Do not let challenges, make you turn back from what God has given you. 

Are there going to be challenges in 2022? I will be a liar if I tell you no! But no matter the challenges, you have a God who is not challenged by anything. He wants you to speak about

Him and not about the challenges you face. He wants to see you speak about His power. Remember the name of the Lord your God when you go through the challenges. He will never fail to respond to your cry. Take that bold step and refuse to be intimated by the challenges. Trust in your God who will supply, preserve and bring you through. Hallelujah!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER: 

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you because you are always with me, I refuse to be afraid of whatever arrow the enemy will throw at me even in the coming year, I see myself moving high above them in Jesus name.
