Refuse to live in misery

Scripture Focus :

Romans 14:17 

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

There are Christians who don't feel good until they are eating or drinking. When you talk about fasting and prayers they see it as causing harm to their bodies. They find nothing enjoyable about spiritual exercises. They believe putting on good clothes and eating good food is the only sign of the goodness of God. In as much as God wants us to live well and look good as His Children, these things are not a real definition or representation of the Kingdom of God. 

This is why when these things disappear, you find them struggling, complaining about God and expressing bitterness about their faith. Our Joy and peace is in the Holy Ghost and not in things! The scripture calls it corruptible and perishable things. They are bound to fly away but when you are root in God, you won't be moved into misery. When the devil tries to keep you in a miserable  state, He fails because you belong to a Kindom of righteousness, Joy unspeakable and abundant peace. 

Learn to live from the Life of God within you! Allow your inner man to dominate your flesh so you won't be moved by what you see happening around. When they are complaining and blaming everything for their suffering, you are jubilating and rejoicing in the Holy Ghost because you know you have in you what the gold and silver of this world cannot buy. Your smilles are irresistible because they are not from this world, they are from a Kingdom whose king is not a man. You are glowing and shinning that the devil has tried everything to keep that joy out of your face but it's so difficult because the Holy Ghost is in you. Hallelujah!!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace over my life, I resist misery out of my life and destiny and I move into your full purpose for my life in Jesus name!
