Have not faith with Respect of Persons

 Scripture Focus :

James 2 : 1

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

When your faith in God is influenced by people's opinion or physical judgement, you are likely to enter into error. Faith is spiritual and must be exercised not based on the flesh. Looking at our focus scripture, many have addressed Angels wrongly without knowing that they spoke with Angels. They allowed their physical eyes to Led them into error. 

It's possible to loose your blessing when your faith is a respecter of persons. I recall when Apostle Paul rebuked Peter for trying to pretend about His faith in the midst of the Jews. This is the case for some Christians, their faith is only relevant in church but outside of Church, they do what they feel is comfortable for their feelings. You must learn to build your faith to stand firm both in the secret and the open. 

The scripture us tells us that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses which are those who have gone ahead of us and they are watching and waiting to see how we would manifest our faith. They did exploits with their faith, refused to bow to idols regardless of the threats. They went after lions without being concerned about what will happen to their lives. Let us learn from them and uphold the banner of an unfeighing faith. Hallelujah!!!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace over my life, I ask that you help my faith to be anchored in your power and not to be influenced by the opinion of men in Jesus name.
