Access to godliness by His divine power

Scripture Focus :

2 Peter 1:3 

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.

It is the Power of God that has given us access to a godly life. A godly life is more about the life that is of God, the life that comes from God. When the scripture says it was by the divine power of God we where given access to this life, it means that the life of Christ was granted to us by the Power of God. God manifested His life by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 

Before now, we were alienated from this life; separated from it. We were governed by the Prince of this world and living according to his influence &  the instruction of the flesh until the power of God manfiested to bring us out into a life of godliness. We are no more subject to the powers of evil, we are now partakers of the life of God. This was why the scripture says that we are saved by Grace. In other words, saved by the power of God. 

Can you see now that having a godly life is not by the effort of any man but by the power of God. The moment you surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, this life steps into you and delivers your soul from the captivity of hell. This is what makes you born again. You recall that Nicodemous was asking Jesus on how a man can be born again? Our focus scripture also answered it---by His divine power! God brought you out of darkness by His Power!I declare now, that every devil that still holds what belongs to you is set on fire now in the name of Jesus Christ!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your help over my life, for granting me a life of godliness. I declare that through your power i have all I need and I walk in them in Jesus name!
