Let God have the first place in everything you do
If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
When God takes the first place in everything you do, He will be in charge of everything. He won't allow your feet to be moved. We are living in a world with so much confusion and spiritual attacks. God wants to help us through this spiritual battles and grant us light in the path we should go. We have to get Him involve by honouring Him in all we do.
I've always said that the purpose of tithe is to get God involve in our resources & finances. When you pay your tithe, you are honouring God as the one who provided and also opening the door for him to manifest His power over the attacks of the enemy in your finances and resources. The honour of God is a spiritual key that can open doors you never prayed for. When Noah was out of the ark after the torrential rain, He made a sacrifice to God that caused God to vow never to destroy the man through flood again.
Do you realise Noah didn't pray for it? There was no prayer point to this but his sweet sacrifice that came to God as an honour, changed the destiny of humanity. God wants to change the destiny of your family and life, this will not happen by prayer alone. Honour Him by giving Him the first place in that family. Whatever you are venturing into, make inquiries from Him and walk in the path He leads. This week the Lord bless you beyond your expectations in Jesus name!
