The new testament covenant

Scripture Focus :

Hebrews 9:15 

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

According to the Greek translation, the word mediator means one who intervenes between two, either in order to make or restore peace and friendship, or form a compact, or for ratifying a covenant. Jesus Christ is our mediator, In other words, the one who restored peace between man and God. This is what gave rise to the new testament covenant. In the days of the law, it was the priest who stood in the holiest place to make sacrifice but in the new testament, Christ is now our high priest. 

This is so powerful because in the days of the law, the sacrifices they offered didn't really bring real peace between God and man. Sin was still a problem because the scripture said it was not possible for the blood of the Blood of goats & bulls to take away sins. Christ offered His own blood to bring about our peace. Listen to this please, you can not find real peace with God except in Jesus Christ. 

The blood of Jesus Christ was accepted as a true sacrifice by God and just like Naoh offered a sacrifice to God and God accepted it and vowed never to destroy the world through flood, so did God accept the sacrifice of Jesus and said for I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more. Under the new testament covenant, there is no record of sins, the blood shows up to take every evidence away. I don't care what you have committed, in the new testament covenant, the blood of Jesus wipes away your sins as if it never existed. This is the reason real peace with God is obtained. Hallelujah!!!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace, I receive all that you have provided for me in the new testament covenant in the name of Jesus Christ.
