Planted in righteousness

Scripture Focus :

2 Corinthians 5:21

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

What God did for us in Christ was to plant us in His righteousness. Through the offense of Adam we lost it and became enemies with God in our minds. What the righteousness of God does is to over look your rights and wrongs and fix you in the place of perfection. When you are in his righteousness, you are not confused about whether you are perfect, you know that you have been sanctified and justified in Him.

You have to learn to stay where you have been planted by God in Christ. Situations will come to move you out but when you stay planted, you flourish! This reminds me of the scripture where our Lord said, without me you can do nothing. God planted you in Christ so you can have life, without Him you will end up struggling to make up your own righteousness. 

 Christ is your righteousness and this is what God sees! He sees Christ because you are in Him. Christ means perfection, He means Holiness, let your mind stay mediatively in this realm so you won't open the door for the enemy to take you out. Let it overtake your confession and be part of your lifestyle. The more you feed on Christ, you grow tap roots into His righteousness and this produces great Grace. Hallelujah!!!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for planting me in Christ, I receive Grace to stay in Christ and grow in righteousness!
