Seek Righteousness!

Scripture Focus :

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The system and values of this world is totally different from that of the kingdom we come from. The world depends on evil to run its system and depend on evil to sustain it. The lust of this world drives it into more evil and wickedness. There are people in the business of selling their conscience for the love of money, fame, and power. Iniquity has shut down the love of many and witchcraft has eaten deep into the heart of people. 

I like you to know that we are in the world but not of the world. In other words, we don't belong to the operations of the system of this world anymore. We are now born of God and of the word of God. While the world depends on evil to survive we are righteousness bound and we look up to the Lord for our needs as we dwell in righteousness. The scripture before us says that all this things, the things the world run after at the expense of their conscience shall be given us. 

We don't have to do it the way they do it, in lust and wickedness. We have become followers of God and therefore sons in Christ Jesus. Don't allow what the world chases after to move you, the end is always destructive. Anything you chase at the expense of righteousness will lead you into destruction. I pray for Grace for you, by the power of God's Spirit, to walk in righteousness and experience more of His blessings in Jesus name!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Grace, I receive power to walk in righteousness and say no to evil in Jesus name!
