Be filled with the Spirit

Scripture Focus Zechariah 4:6

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Until a man is filled with the Spirit, he cannot contend with evil spiritual forces. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, He imparts in you supernatural abilities to prevail over the forces of darkness. If you desire to prevail over the spiritual barriers around your life, then you need to understand that you cannot do this without the Power of the Spirit. 

You will encounter defeat when you try to deal with spiritual barriers in your wisdom or ability. Recall how King David defeated Goliath who was feared by even the most trained soldier in Israel. He didn't use the best military weapons yet He brought Goliath down. This was made possible by the ability of the Spirit. This too can happen in your life when you are filled with the Spirit. Repent from every known sin and ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit, this is the step to experience Him fill your life. Hallelujah!!!

Dear Heavenly Father, I repent today of any sin and I ask that you wash me and fill me now with your Holy Spirit in Jesus name!
