The Joy set before you

Scripture Focus :

Hebrews 12:2 

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

There is a Joy set for you in the coming year 2023, and Just like our Lord Jesus Christ, there are things you have to endure and despise to enter into that Joy. Don't let your feelings be fixed on the present trouble but on the Joy set before you. Now listen to this, you need the spirit of discernment to keep your eyes on the Joy set before. 

It was that Spirit that kept the eyes of Christ away from the things He suffered. It was painful and terrible, yet it never broke His focus because He could see the great Joy ahead of Him. Don't give up now! There is a great Joy coming for you! If Our Lord Jesus had given up, we would not be talking about His victory over the kingdom of darkness. Hallelujah!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm so thankful for your love over my life. I receive grace to keep my eyes on the Joy set before me rather than on the troubles that surround me in Jesus name!
